This painting has so much detail. I remember painting the spokes on the bike wheels. With watercolor it's very hard to paint around a thin white line and keep it white. The building also had a lot of detail, the draping foliage and balusters, window curtains, shades and lattice! But it all adds up to a scene that invites you in. An intriguing feeling, like you might just wat to grab that bike and explore the rest of the cobblestone path.
